THE PROPERTY
This family home is incredible value for money due to an extension which provides large rooms on both floors including plenty of reception space.
The ground floor comprises of lounge with dining space, breakfast kitchen, family bathroom and utility room. Starting with the lounge, this room runs the full length of the house with a bay window to the front, patio doors to the rear and feature fireplace. The wood effect flooring gives a lovely finish to what is a well decorated reception room. As stated the lounge can be used for dining, the space is certainly there for a family dining table even with a full size sofa suite in the front lounge area.
The current occupiers use the kitchen for dining, and what a fabulous space this room is. An extension from the original build, this room is huge and the family dining table looks small in comparison to the area set out for it. To the rear of this room is the kitchen area which has plenty of work and cupboard space and currently houses a range oven. The floor is tiled and windows to the front and back allow plenty of natural light.
The final two rooms on the ground floor are the family bathroom towards the rear of the entrance hallway, and the utility room from the rear of the lounge. The family bathroom includes bath with shower over, as well as wash basin and toilet. The utility area is an ample space for laundry and includes an exit door to the rear garden.
Moving upstairs, this home has five bedrooms leading off the landing, with the master bedroom including an en suite bathroom. All bedrooms are double rooms, with the smallest bedroom being only six foot wide, but over twelve foot in length. Bedrooms one, two and three all include built in wardrobe space.
With the property being located on a corner plot at the entrance of Rivington Crescent, the front garden is wider whereas the rear garden narrows to a finish. Therefore the current owners have made good use of space to the side of the property to help create a decent outdoor space to compensate after the huge extension. The property doesn’t technically have off road parking as the kerb is not dropped, but there is a slabbed area of the front garden by a large gap in the front wall (see final picture).
NB - ROOM SIZES ARE SHOWN AT THE BOTTOM OF THE PAGE.
