THE PROPERTY
Located on a peaceful no-through road in the Staffordshire village of Norton Canes, near Cannock, this fabulous linked detached family home will impress all viewers. The house is set back from Gainsbrook Crescent behind a block-paved driveway for parking two cars in tandem with a lawn to the side. Viewers will enter the main front door into a short hallway that has ample space for removing coats and shoes before guests have the options of taking doors to the left and right for the lounge and family room respectively, as well as the carpeted staircase immediately ahead.
Beginning with the family room, this long reception room has been brilliantly converted from the former garage with wood-effect laminate flooring laid underfoot and a corridor to the rear leading to an exit door to the rear garden. Preceding the exit are two further doors to give access to a welcome guest wc with wash hand basin and a utility closet that features plumbing for the washing machine and the recently replaced gas central heating combi-boiler.
The lounge is superb large reception room for the whole family to relax in as there is plenty of space for a sofa suite, entertainment unit and other furniture. There is no need to reserve a spot for a dining table as in the very next room, via a door to the rear, there is a separate dining room that features sliding doors leading out to the rear garden and a further internal door through to the kitchen. In here there is a recently installed white high gloss suite with laminated work surfaces. There are spaces between the units for a cooker and fridge freezer.
Moving upstairs, the carpeted landing area features doors leading off to all three bedrooms and an outstanding family bathroom, as well as there being a storage cupboard and a hatch above for access to a boarded and insulated loft for storage. A feature that is very apparent in the landing is the trendy new internal wooden doors. The bedrooms comprise of two doubles and a generous single, with the largest of the double rooms to the front left of the house. The single bedroom has a handy wardrobe built above the staircase bulkhead to maximise the available space. The bathroom is incredibly stylish that features a P-shaped bathtub with shower and curved screen fitted over. There is also a grey cabinet with wash basin mounted on top, a heated towel rail, wall-mounted mirrored cabinet and toilet. Sleek tiling to the walls and floor perfectly complements the suite.
Finishing outside, the rear garden for this home begins from the rear of the family room with a slabbed patio that is perfect for an outdoor furniture set before expanding further beyond the house in front of the dining room sliding doors. The remainder of the garden is mostly lawn with shrubs to the borders, wooden fencing to the boundaries and tall trees that enhance the privacy.
