THE PROPERTY
Set back from Dorrington Road, this lovely traditional family home will be appreciated by all viewers due to its character and beautiful presentation. With a lovely fore-garden which, as shown by other properties in the street, has the potential to be converted into off road parking, the property is approached via steps leading upto the front door and porch. The porch is a great space for removing coats and shoes before moving through to the hallway.
From the hallway there are doors leading off to the main reception room and kitchen. Starting with the reception room, this room is made up of a lounge and dining room opened through to make one long room and measuring 25 foot from bay window to conservatory doors. Viewers will note that the reception room is very tasteful decorated. Patio doors lead through to the conservatory which is a fantastic size for relaxing in the summer with the current owner also having enough space to run a small business!! The kitchen is a quirky shape, owing much to the character of the home and has plenty of work surface area and a side door out to the rear patio.
Moving upstairs, the first floor landing has doors leading off to the three bedrooms, family bathroom and storage cupboard. The two main bedrooms are of a similar double size and both having bay windows. The third bedroom is a single and is an ample size for a bed and wardrobe with room to manoeuvre. The family bathroom has a wonderful finish and includes recessed shelving, an unusual angled window and shower over the bath.
The rear garden begins with a patio area with pathway running to the rear of the garden. There is a gated rear lawn from when the current owner used to own a dog, and there are flower beds and shrubbery to the borders. There is also a shed at the bottom of the garden. It is worth noting that behind the garden is a shared access gated service drive for local residents and therefore it would be possible to convert part of the garden into off road parking.
